What’s Mixing in 2024?
In 2023 was such a big year for us. We produced a music video, a couple of short films, and two Horrified episodes while also supporting close to 10 other short films and feature films.
In 2024, we hope to continue to grow in that momentum and aim even higher. Here’s what’s in store for Halo Halo Productions and the team in 2024.
Film
Festival run for Angel’s first short film, Otherworld
It was always Angel’s dream to take her camera talents and try her hand at directing. Otherworld is a film set in a dream-like world where the concept of self-awareness is unknown. Within this world, a young woman questions the limits of her understanding of reality and the true nature of her existence
We completed filming and editing Otherworld in 2023. So we look to have a short festival run in 2024 for the film. Stay tuned!
Producing experimental music videos
In 2023, we shot The Experiment and began our journey of testing miniatures and VFX. This year, we are collaborating with a couple of local artists to produce some experimental music videos which will again feature miniature sets and VFX.
Continue development of Halo Halo Production’s first feature film
With the rapid growth of Halo Halo Productions over the past 2 years, the team figured it could be time to dream a little. Joel has written a number of wonderful horror feature films and we’re excited to try our luck in planning and developing them for 2024.
Podcast
Continue the growth of Horrified
In 2023, we had a successful year creating two more episodes featuring two new directors familiar with the Horrified family: Angel Lynne and Katrina Salisbury. In 2024, we are hoping to continue with the momentum and launch at least two more episodes.
Evolving Smörgåsbord Podcast
Angel and Mik revisited the Smörgåsbord podcast in 2023, and decided to continue to take a hiatus. They hope to bring the show back in 2024 in a more evolved version.
